Located at 5600 W Union Hills Drive, the Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center is a full-service, recreation and aquatics center serving the Glendale community. We provide educational, recreational, fitness and social activities through classes, special events and ongoing center activities. Select areas and programs are free to everyone. Recreation Memberships may be purchased for additional opportunities. No joining fees or contracts! Daily, monthly, 15-punch and annual recreation memberships are available.

POOL CLOSURE NOTICE
As we look towards the future, we have identified some immediate construction projects and renovations that are needed for the play and lap pools that we believe will improve the facility as well as enhance the recreation experience. These projects, pending an award of the contract, will require the temporary suspension of all programs and activities in the pool area. The project entails draining both pools, removing the existing surface, and then installing a new surface. We will also be installing new LED lighting in the pools. To complete this work, we therefore, must close this area during this time. The final day of the aquatic programs will be Friday, September 17th. If all construction goes as scheduled, the Aquatics Center will re-open on January 31, 2022.
