Topgolf has opened its newest location in Glendale making it the third location here in the Valley! The brand new 67,000 square foot venue has been under construction since August 2017 and employs about 500 people. Topgolf Chief Development Officer Chris Callaway estimates Topgolf Glendale would attract about 450,000 visitors in its first year of operation. Glendale City Manager Kevin Phelps says the city’s Sports and Entertainment District and Topgolf are a perfect match. “Glendale welcomes Topgolf, which is a premier name in entertainment,” said Phelps. “This is exactly the type of quality growth we are very proud to see in this vibrant and dynamic area.” Topgolf has grown rapidly in popularity over recent years, especially with younger adults and millennials. The popular entertainment venue mixes socializing and sports with a restaurant, a bar, and climate-controlled driving ranges. Groups of up to six swing at microchip-embedded golf balls that track the shot's accuracy and distance, awarding points for hitting targets on the field. Scoring is tracked by the technology and is displayed on your bay’s television screen. Topgolf Glendale is now the largest location in the state and features more than 100 climate-controlled hitting bays. A towering video wall is one of the never before seen features that is exclusive to the Topgolf Glendale location. The video wall measures 24 feet by 18 feet and can split 12 different ways for ultimate video coverage. The venue also includes a restaurant and bars, private event spaces, and a rooftop terrace with a fire pit. The Topgolf Glendale venue is located right next to State Farm Stadium and the Westgate Entertainment District at 6101 N. 99th Ave. Hours of operations are Monday - Thursday from 9:00am - 12:00am, Friday - Saturday from 9:00am - 2:00am, and Sunday from 9:00am - 12:00am.
