Not only is Westgate Entertainment District and Jobing.com Arena the home of great entertainment, but there are also so many upcoming events at Westgate featuring live music and fun this spring!
Practice your Irish jig and step-dancing so you can dance to the live Irish music from Kilted Spirit at the start/finish line of Kiss Me I’m Irish Run. This run/walk held on March 15th at Westgate will get you in the spirit of St. Patty’s Day! Along with live music, there are runs and walks suitable for any age and ability - a 17k run, 8k and 4k run or walk, and an “Irish k” for the little lads and lassies.
Every participant gets a great big kiss - a Hershey’s chocolate kiss - as they cross the finish line, plus there will be frozen custard from Culver’s and Bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes, and an after party at McFadden’s with a complimentary beer for all the participants over 21. If country music suits you more, join us at Westgate for the all new Redneck Run. This afternoon event features live music from four country entertainers. You can listen to the sounds of the Geetars, Casey Lee Smith, and Mary Hoffman as you run, walk or stroll along the 5k course, and enjoy Laura Walsh on the Honky Tonk Stage at the start/finish. This is the valley’s newest and most unique run/walk event, at Westgate on Saturday, April 5. The festivities begin at noon with music, fun and games, and an individual 5k, 10k “plunger” relay, and country mile, starting at 3 pm. There will be plunger decorating and prizes for the best decorated, plus lots of other fun and games in Honky Tonk Village plus an after-party at Whiskey Rose with a beer for all participants over 21. If Mariachis and margaritas are more your style, Cinco de Miler - a 5 mile, 5k or Sombrero Shuffle 1k - will keep you hopping. Put on your sombreros, mustaches and sunglasses, and join us for this fun event on Saturday May 3rd. Run/walks starts at 7:30 am.
