The Grand Finale of Glendale Summer Band Concerts Formed in 1996, the Glendale Summer Band is the longest running community band in Arizona. With around 100 musicians, these volunteer performers’ ages span over generations. The musicians have been entertaining the city with their perspectives on various genres of music including folk, showtunes, and movie classics. This Thursday, July 26th, is The Grand Finale of the 52nd Glendale Summer Band Concert Series. Over the past seven weeks, the musicians have performed at 8:00 PM in the E. Lowell Rogers Amphitheatre in Murphy Park, located at 58th and Glenn drives. This week is the Grand Finale of one of the most anticipated music events in Glendale, and you do not want to miss it! The Glendale Summer Band Concert Series are free for attendees. Seating is organized by a first come first serve basis, so make sure you bring plenty of blankets and lawn chairs for the event. Whether your coming with family or friends, this evening will be fun for everyone. Snacks, refreshments, and other concessions will be available for purchase during the concert.
