Of course, you could always check our event calendar, but sometimes you need some highlights to get into planning mode!
- First off, one of the Desert Botanical Garden's most popular exhibits returns with Chihuly in the Garden. Did you know: Glendale is such a proud supporter of Chihuly fine art, we even have a piece on display - do you know where?
- Arts & Culture in the West Valley is everywhere, from Hairspray and The Sound of Music at Arizona Broadway Theatre, the first performance of the West Valley Symphony's 13-14 season, Sonoran Jazz for the WVAC Backyard Concert Series, and many more chances to see art in the West Valley, care of our own West Valley Arts Council.
- We also have our Phoenix Coyotes breaking into their 2013-14 season with some great games on the ice already. We have already had an extraordinary goal by Mike Smith a few weeks ago, and some great fun in the crowds during Halloween night. With 6 coyotes games, as well as Winter Jam and a Pearl Jam concert thrown in there for good measure, November is full at the Arena!
-Ragtime at TheaterWorks, as well as the Nicole Pesce Quintet fill out even more cultural happenings in November, as well as our Holiday Open House in Historic Downtown Glendale.
- Tons of markets are in full swing this month, including Momma's Organic at Park West, Tolmachoff's Produce Stand, Wigwam's Farmers Market, and the Open Air Market in downtown Glendale.
As you can see, there is so much going on, it might even be a little hard to choose! At the end of the month, don't forget Glendale Glitters - it's the 20th anniversary, so expect a lot of fun and special moments! If you're looking for a little something to do with friends Football Sundays (besides watch the games), there's also the ongoing field trips with the Football Widows, too!
