A grand New Year’s Day tradition continues on January 1, 2019, when Glendale’s State Farm Stadium plays host to one of college football’s premier events: the 48th Annual PlayStation Fiesta Bowl. The game will feature a first-ever matchup, as No. 11 LSU and No. 8 UCF will face off for the first time in history in a College Football Playoff New Year’s Six contest at State Farm Stadium. Kickoff is 11 a.m., Arizona time, at State Farm Stadium, 1 Cardinals Drive, Glendale, AZ, 85305. Over the years, the Fiesta Bowl has grown to more than just the game itself, becoming an anticipated annual celebration. As teams prepare to take the field at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale for the national title, the city and surrounding areas are staying in ‘event mode’ in the days leading up to the big game.
