July 14th: Christmas comes to Glendale. What better way to celebrate the summer than with some holiday cheer? Saturday, July 14th from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Santa will be in Historic Downtown Glendale.
Enjoy a celebratory day of crafts, sweet and savory treats, and exclusive deals! There will be ample time for summer shopping. Start at the Glendale Chamber of Commerce, 5800 W. Glenn Drive, Glendale, AZ 85301, where you can pick up your Christmas-in-July map.
Santa will be there and holiday music will play throughout the neighborhood as downtown businesses offer exuberant holiday activities filled with cheer. Fun will abound in creating chocolate Christmas trees and decorating holiday cookies, along with special treats such as, Santa sundaes with peppermint ice cream and eggnog.
Christmas in July also kicks off the installation of 1.5 million lights for Glendale’s annual holiday light display! The installation of the holiday lights takes more than four months and five-thousand labor hours to complete in order to be ready for Glendale Glitters Spectacular, happening every weekend, starting Friday, November 23rd!
