Youngtown was the first full fledged retirement community in the country and the first to restrict residency to those 59 and older, but in 1998 was opened to residents of all ages.
DETAILS
Situated on the opposite bank of the Agua Fria River from El Mirage, Youngtown boasts its own Historical Society and the Caliche Cactus Garden, a collection of native cacti. While continuously growing, Youngtown offers a lake, numerous parks, a library, and a clubhouse. Come enjoy this small-town friendly feel.
