Shop Glendale! It Makes Cents!

Dear Glendale Business Owner:

The Glendale Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to debut Shop Glendale. This program encourages residents and visitors to choose Glendale as the location to spend their shopping, dining and activity dollars in an effort to bolster the economy. The program also promotes spending in Glendale as the sales tax collected supports critical city services. Shop Glendale is an ideal opportunity for you to showcase your business and encourage consumers to enter your doors.
Shop Glendale debuted on June 1, 2009. We invite you to partner with the city of Glendale in this very exciting program. Here are more details on the program.

• Shop Glendale Campaign – Debuted on June 1, 2009
• Participation Fee: $25 gift certificate or applicable merchandise.
• A comprehensive media and public relations campaign will be facilitated by the city of Glendale Marketing/Communications Department
• As incentive for consumers, shoppers will be given unique discounts and an opportunity to win prizes
• Shop Glendale discount card
• Shop Glendale Web site – www.VisitGlendale.com/shop
• Shop Glendale collateral (Posters, Buttons, Brochures)
• Shop Glendale advertising
• “Glendeals” which are unique, themed discount offers

An important part of the campaign is the discount program component. A Shop Glendale discount card will be produced which will be valid at participating businesses. The card will be available for residents and visitors to pick up at the Glendale Visitor Center and participating shops. The Shop Glendale discounts will be valid every day of the week. This is your opportunity to promote your business with a strong call-to-action discount and offers. Shoppers and diners will simply show the Shop Glendale discount card at your business to receive the discount. The card can be used endless times throughout the length of the program. All the discount information will be found on the program’s Web site: www.VisitGlendale.com/shop. Each month will also have a new theme to help promote local events and activities and encourage repeat visitation.
