New TV Show Takes Viewers on a Culinary Journey throughout Glendale
Looking for a great restaurant? Television viewers can get a taste of some of Glendale’s best dining establishments with the Glendale Office of Tourism’s newest show, “Food For Thought,” which debuts Sunday, June 13 at 7:30pm on Glendale 11 TV.
The show is a mouth-watering tour of seven restaurants, independently owned and operated, offering eclectic menus and unique dining experiences from casual to upscale.
The first stop is Cee Cee’s on the Corner, where viewers will learn a family recipe for Pollo Ala Tejana (Texas-style chicken). Don’t miss local favorite Kiss the Cook, a restaurant known for breakfast and loved since 1982.
Midwesterners will love stop is Dazzo’s Dog House, recognized for serving up Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian ice. Another taste of Chicago can be found at Baby’s Steak and Lemonade featuring deep-fried Philly cheese steak.
The segment on Molly’s Tamales showcases hundreds of varieties of tamales. Wrapping up the show is a highlight of all the frappe and espresso options at Coffee & Tea Express and a grand gourmet finale at Le Chalet, a fusion of French and Swiss cuisine, offering authentic crepes and featuring European chefs.
