Downtown Glendale will celebrate a fun-filled day of early holiday shopping and dining on Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s never too early to start shopping for the holidays and on July 18; there are only 159 more days until Christmas. Shoppers will start at the Glendale Visitor Center to pick up their map, discount coupons, and take a spin on the prize wheel. Participants will find great gift ideas throughout Old Towne and Catlin Court. Holiday music, entertainment and treats will surely put you in the Christmas spirit! And to give back to the community, the Glendale Visitor Center will be accepting food donations for the St. Mary’s Food Bank to help when the food bank needs the most assistance during the summer months. Event Details
With only 159 days left to get all of your shopping complete for gifts and decorations, start early and avoid the rush! Start the fun at the Glendale Visitor Center to pick up your holiday map and coupons and take a spin on our themed prize wheel*(for the 1st 500 visitors). Then hop on board the cool and comfortable Glendale Express Shuttle, which will provide rides throughout Old Towne and Catlin Court. Visit boutique stores, specialty shops, and downtown eateries for giveaways and great deals.

Santa Claus
Santa himself will be taking a break from making toys to make a stop in the Downtown from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at AZ Dolls & Gifts.
Canned Food Drive
The Glendale Visitor Center will be accepting non-perishable food items to benefit the Westside Food Bank. During the summer, the food bank shelves are at their most bare. When a donation is made, visitors will be invited to decorate a paper ornament that will adorn the Christmas tree in the lobby of the Glendale Visitor Center.
Christmas in July also kicks off the start of decorating 1.5 million lights for the annual Holiday Festival, Glendale Glitters, a recipient of Azcentral.com’s Critics’ Choice for Best Festival.
