Historic Downtown Glendale Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive
July 16-August 20

The historic downtown business community in partnership with the Glendale Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting the 2nd Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive. The 2009 event was a huge success with more than 12,000 items donated!

The drive kicks off during the July 16 Friday Nite Lights and continues through the August 20 Friday Nite Lights. The August Friday Nite Lights event will have a ‘Dog Days of Summer’ theme.  We are also encouraging donations during the Christmas in July event on July 17. The Glendale Visitor Center and many downtown businesses will have collection boxes available to collect the school supplies. The items will benefit local Glendale elementary schools.
