DIRECTV's Super Fan Festival in Glendale January 28-30
DIRECTV recently announced their Super Fan Festival to be held in Glendale Jan. 28-30. The biggest pre-game bash ever will include a three-day music festival featuring 12 concerts with some of the top names in the industry – including Zac Brown Band, Calvin Harris, Imagine Dragons and Snoop Dogg.
In addition to premiere musical performances, the festival will feature a variety of exhilarating activities and activations including a mechanical bull, zip line and carnival-like shooting range. Fans will be also able to hit the links with a Par 3 Closest to the Pin Contest, take a new car for a spin around a specially designed Auto Test Track; take part in Football Skills Challenge led by NFL Hall of Famer Lynn Swann; and enjoy a cold one at the Bud Light Biergarten.

Glendale’s Got Game…And Chocolate Too - Super Bowl Weekend
Glendale will host a super-sweet event of its own on Super Bowl weekend, Friday, Jan. 30 and Saturday, Jan. 31. The 20th Annual Glendale Chocolate Affaire in Historic Downtown Glendale will be a chocolate lover’s paradise, with special activities geared toward sports fans, as well. Buckeye Stirs Up Dust at the Annual Buckeye Days Wild West Show, Cattle Drive & Parade January 24 & 25!
Buckeye Days NSPRA Rodeo is an annual signature event in downtown Buckeye. Buckeye is the only city in the State of Arizona that hosts an annual Cattle Drive. The festivities starts with the Buckeye Days Parade down Monroe Avenue followed with the Senior Pro Rodeo at the Buckeye Equestrian Center. The rodeo showcases bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding and more. Cowboy breakfast, steak dinner and charity auction in the evening. Both days also feature a Wild West Show with Dr. Buck, and the final day of the event features a Chili Cook off at the Equestrian Center. See the flyer>>

West Valley STEAMpunk GeoTour - Get Geocached!
WESTMARC has created Arizona’s FIRST GeoTour right here in the West Valley! Geocaching is modern day treasure hunting using a GPS enabled device. Someone hides a geocache (container), uploads coordinates online, and anyone can go find the geocache and sign the log book inside. This GeoTour was designed to highlight the STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) assets in the West Valley. From Buckeye to Peoria, from Banner Del E Webb Hospital to Tres Rios Nature Preserve and everywhere in between, participants will get a firsthand look at the amazing attractions and businesses that call the West Valley home.
